Self is the Problem

" Self is the Problem."

Self is the problem we tend to be self centered
self absorbed, we're into self to our detriment.
Selfishness is the spirit that destroys relationships
and marriages irreparably 100%.
Although Yah created man from clay we are
flesh and flesh is satan's hand tool.
Flesh works hand in hand with satan and
in the flesh we act a complete fool.
Walking in the flesh/self does not please Yah
for it is not subject to His will.
In the flesh/self there is envy, hatred, jealousy,
and anger, it is in the flesh we murder/kill.
All the problems associated with marriage
are because of self it's the all about me mindset.
Until we learn to allow self to die daily in
our marriages there will be room for regret.
Most boast of being an individual in marriage
but being caught up into self you shouldn't do.
When you're all about self you open yourself
to satan because right now Yah cannot use you.
Not until you fall and are called out of self and
you become humble will you ever begin to see.
That self is the cause of all the disagreements
when two are into self it's just misery.
Denying self and putting the other first
is what both spouses should work to.
Pleasing the other and not yourself is favoured
by Yah and He'll see you through.
Sex is a selfish act when you're about pleasing
and feeding your flesh at the other's expense.
But when you strive to please the other you are
Making Love to fulfillment and this makes sense.
I've learned that self is the problem when I
only thought of what I wanted for myself only.
Just like many who have problems in their
marriages I was one who could not see.
Self doesn't leave room for Yah in your life
He wants to be the only one in your Temple.
You must surrender by denying self daily
self must die and it's just that simple.
